As part of the small project Reimagining Fabric, we invited textile designer Julie Maclean to collaborate with us to make a series of Citizen Women silk shirts.
Silk is perfect for dyeing and the silk tops are carefully scrunched and shaped and dipped in colour. The result is a subtle pink and grey pattern. Each pattern is unique.
